Dublin Town Here We Come

After a great nights sleep or not so great sleep if you are Sue and Jadyn and a full breakfast, we decided to take the Luas (tram) into the downtown area of Dublin. We left the hotel and walked about 5 minutes to the new station (it wasn't here last year during Worlds). We boarded the tram and it took about 40 minutes to go into the town center.
We started walking around and doing a little shopping... wait, that may have been a lot of shopping.
The highlight of the day though was our visit to the Fay's workshop. We met with Eamon while he was busily working away in the shop with two other workers. He stopped right away to come and speak with us and spent about 40 minutes fitting the girls for some new shoes. The shop was really cool, the smell of the glue would have knocked you off your feet but we got used to it pretty fast. The girls are coming home with new shoes right from the man himself... pretty stoked.
After our visit to Fay's we shopped some more and got a bite to eat, then more shopping...
So the time now here in Dublin is 10:20, we are just back from dinner. It will be a little bit of practice time now and then straight to bed! I sure hope that we can get a good night sleep.

  2. Looks like you ladies are having a good time so far! All the pics of Cait and Jadyn together in Ireland made me smile so big, such a big dream for 2 little girls and here they are living it!! Wish I could be there to share the fun, practice hard, eat welll and get over that jet lag, the big day is coming and I will be thinking of Caitlin and Jadyn all day and waiting to get a buzz from my phone bringing me the news of the day!!
